Air Conditioning Repair, Replacement, and Tune-Ups in Boynton Beach

Many Boynton Beach homes still run cooling systems that were installed 15 or more years ago, and older equipment has a harder time controlling humidity. We repair all major brands, replace aging units with high-efficiency systems, and keep new and existing equipment tuned for the long summer. Visit our air conditioning services page.

Boynton Beach Heater and Heat Pump Repair

Boynton Beach only needs heat a handful of times each winter, which is exactly why problems go unnoticed. A heat pump reversing valve or backup heat strip can fail quietly over the summer and only show up on the first cool night. We repair, replace, and maintain heating systems of every common type. See our heating services page.

Signs Your Boynton Beach HVAC Is Due for Service

  • The house cools down, but the air still feels muggy.
  • Your system turns on and off several times an hour.
  • You hear hissing near the indoor coil or refrigerant lines.
  • Dust builds up faster than usual around supply vents.
  • The outdoor unit runs hot to the touch or smells like it’s burning.
  • Your AC still uses R-22 refrigerant.

Why Boynton Beach Homes Benefit From Regular AC Tune-Ups

A yearly tune-up keeps your system’s parts clean, tight, and working together the way they should. In Boynton Beach’s humidity, that means better moisture removal, fewer clogged drain lines, and less strain on the compressor. It also gives you a clear picture of your system’s health, so you can plan for a replacement instead of being caught off guard by one.

Boynton Beach Plumbing Services You Can Count On

A large share of Boynton Beach homes and condos went up between the 1960s and 1980s, and much of that original plumbing is still in use. Our licensed plumbers repair leaks, replace worn supply and drain lines, install fixtures, and handle emergencies for homes and businesses across the city. We work in single-family homes, villas, and condo buildings alike. Visit our plumbing services page to learn more.

Plumbing services in Boynton Beach:

  • Water seeps from under a toilet or around the base of a tub.
  • The kitchen drain backs up into the adjoining sink.
  • You notice a damp, musty smell in a closet or hallway.
  • Hot water runs out halfway through a shower.
  • Pipes clank or bang when you shut off a faucet.
  • Your condo neighbor reports water coming through their ceiling.

Small leaks tend to grow, and in a Boynton Beach condo or villa, they can quickly become a shared problem with the unit next door or below. Early repairs keep damage limited, reduce the chance of mold, and help you avoid costly flooring and drywall replacement. They can also save you from a much bigger bill if an aging pipe fails without warning.

  • Original cast iron drains: Homes from the 1960s and 1970s often have drain lines that are cracking or scaling inside.
  • Polybutylene supply lines: Some homes built in the 1980s still have this failure-prone plastic pipe.
  • Slab leaks: Supply lines running under concrete slabs can wear through and leak out of sight.

Boynton Beach Water Heater Repair and Replacement

If your water heater takes forever to recover or leaves rusty water in the tub, it’s likely nearing the end of its life. We repair and flush existing tanks, replace failing units, and install tankless water heaters that work well in villas and condos where space is limited. Learn more on our water heater page.

Boynton Beach Sewer and Drain Cleaning

Drains that clog again and again usually have a deeper cause, like root intrusion or a deteriorating cast iron pipe. We start with a camera inspection to see what’s happening, then clear the line with cleaning or hydro jetting, or repair and replace the damaged section. Visit our drains and sewers page.

Boynton Beach Electrical Repair, Upgrades, and Installations

Whether you’re dealing with an older panel in a 1970s villa or adding an EV charger to a newer home, our licensed electricians have you covered. We handle troubleshooting, rewiring, panel replacements, lighting, and surge protection for homes and businesses throughout Boynton Beach. As an official Generac dealer, we also install and service standby generators for reliable backup power. See our electrical services page.

Electrical services in Boynton Beach:

  • The panel is original to a home built in the 1960s or 1970s.
  • You smell something hot or smoky near an outlet or switch.
  • Ceiling fans or lights hum, buzz, or flicker.
  • Outlets in the kitchen, bathroom, or garage aren’t GFCI protected.
  • Your breaker trips when the microwave and coffee maker run together.
  • You depend on medical equipment and have no backup power.

A Generac standby generator turns on within seconds of an outage without anyone having to flip a switch. For Boynton Beach households, that can mean:

  • Keeping medical devices and refrigerated medications working
  • Running the AC to keep your home cool and dry after a storm
  • Protecting your home from humidity damage while you’re away

Age is the biggest factor we see in Boynton Beach. Many homes and villas built decades ago have panels and wiring that were never designed for today’s appliances, larger AC units, and home offices. Near the coast, salt air corrodes exterior outlets and meter boxes, and summer lightning storms regularly send damaging surges through older electrical systems.

Boynton Beach HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical Questions

Yes. We handle AC, plumbing, and electrical work in condos, villas, and single-family homes throughout Boynton Beach, and we can coordinate with your association when needed.
Turn off your AC right away and call us. A clogged drain line or cracked pan is usually the cause. Our team takes calls 24/7 and will get you on the schedule as quickly as possible.
In most cases, yes. R-22 is no longer produced, so repairs involving refrigerant keep getting more expensive. A new high-efficiency system also costs less to run each month.
Cast iron pipes are heavy, dark gray or black metal and were standard in homes built before the mid-1970s. Slow drains, sewer odors, and recurring clogs can signal that they’re deteriorating. Our plumbers can inspect them with a camera.
Yes. Our plumbers use leak detection methods to pinpoint slab leaks before any floor is opened, keeping the repair area as small as possible.
Yes. A properly sized Generac standby generator can run oxygen concentrators, CPAP machines, and other medical devices along with your AC and refrigerator.
Current electrical codes call for GFCI protection in kitchens, bathrooms, garages, laundry areas, and outdoors. Older homes often lack them, and adding them is an easy safety upgrade.
Low refrigerant, a dirty coil, a failing capacitor, or a frozen evaporator coil can all cause this. Our technicians will find the cause and recommend the right repair.
With regular maintenance, tankless water heaters often last 15 to 20 years, which is longer than most tank models.
Yes. We offer financing with payments as low as $99 per month on new HVAC systems. Ask about options for other major projects when you book.
Yes. We provide commercial HVAC, plumbing, and electrical service for offices, restaurants, retail shops, and condo associations throughout Boynton Beach.

JD was wonderful! Although there was a hiccup in getting the right equipment, JD and his helper were able to put up scaffolding and install a ceiling fan 30 feet high, in under two hours. He did an amazing job. I would use Spectrum again in the future, and would most definitely recommend and hire JD again.
