Will a real person answer if I call at night or on the weekend?

Yes. A live person answers every call, 24/7. For true emergencies, like no cooling in a heat wave, a burst pipe, or a burning smell from your panel, we work to get a technician out that night. If it can wait, we’ll book your first available morning slot. For any sign of an electrical fire, call 911 first.

How soon can you get someone to my house?

Same-day service is available most days in South Florida and Tampa Bay, especially for morning calls. Emergencies get priority, and Hero members move to the front of the line year-round.

How do I know what it will cost before you start?

Your technician diagnoses the problem, explains it, and gives you the price before any work starts. You decide whether to move forward. If repair and replacement are both reasonable, you’ll see both options laid out honestly.

My AC is running, but the house won’t cool down. What’s usually wrong?

Usually it’s a failed capacitor, a frozen evaporator coil, a refrigerant leak, a clogged condensate drain, or a very dirty filter. Before you call, check that the thermostat is set to cool, swap a dirty filter, and check the breaker. If you see ice on the lines, turn the system off and run the fan only. Running it frozen can damage the compressor.

Should I repair my AC or replace it?

Florida systems usually last 10 to 15 years. Repair makes sense for a younger system that needs one part. Replacement makes sense past 12 years with a major repair, constant summer breakdowns, or R-22 refrigerant, which is no longer produced. A quick rule: multiply the system’s age by the repair cost. If it’s over $5,000, replacement is usually the smarter move.

Do you handle plumbing and electrical too, or just AC?

All three. Our plumbers handle water heaters, clogged drains, leak detection, and sewer lines. Our electricians cover panel upgrades, lighting, surge protection, and Generac generators. One company that knows your home makes every future call easier.
