Wellington AC Repair and High-Efficiency Installation

Wellington’s inland location brings hot, still afternoons that test cooling systems from spring through fall. We repair all major brands, design replacement systems for large and multi-building properties, and install ductless units for barn offices, tack rooms, and guest quarters. Visit our air conditioning services page.

Wellington Heating and Heat Pump Repair

The winter equestrian season brings Wellington’s busiest months, along with cool nights that can dip into the 40s. Heat pumps and backup heat strips keep homes and guest spaces comfortable, but they need to be ready after a long idle summer. We repair, maintain, and replace heating systems of every common type. Learn more on our heating services page.

Signs Your Wellington HVAC System Needs Service

  • Guest quarters or barn offices don’t cool as well as the main house.
  • The system struggles through hot afternoons and rarely shuts off.
  • Dust and dander from nearby paddocks clog filters quickly.
  • Humidity feels high indoors even with the AC running.
  • The outdoor unit makes new rattling or grinding sounds.
  • Your equipment is more than 12 years old and needs frequent repairs.

What Regular HVAC Maintenance Does for Wellington Properties

  • Cleaner air: Frequent filter changes and coil cleaning help manage dust and allergens common near equestrian areas.
  • Reliable cooling across buildings: Scheduled service keeps every system on the property working as intended.
  • Ready for season: A fall tune-up means systems are prepared when owners and guests arrive.

Wellington Plumbing Services From Licensed Plumbers

Wellington homes built in the 1980s and 1990s often have polybutylene, CPVC, or aging copper supply lines, while estate properties may have long plumbing runs serving several buildings. Our licensed plumbers repair leaks, replace aging pipe, install fixtures, and handle emergencies for homes, estates, and businesses across the village. Visit our plumbing services page.

Wellington plumbing services:

  • Gray polybutylene or brittle CPVC pipe under sinks or near the water heater.
  • A water bill that spikes without explanation.
  • Wet spots in the yard between the house and outbuildings.
  • Cracks in tile or warm spots on floors.
  • Low pressure in guest houses or distant bathrooms.
  • Drains that back up after heavy rain.

On larger properties, a leak can go unnoticed for weeks, especially in a guest house or a home that’s empty outside of season. By the time it’s found, water may have damaged flooring, drywall, and cabinetry, and mold may have taken hold. Fixing plumbing issues quickly limits the damage and keeps repair costs manageable.

  • Aging supply lines: Polybutylene and early CPVC in 1980s and 1990s homes can crack and fail without warning.
  • Long plumbing runs: Estates with multiple buildings have more pipe to monitor and more places for leaks to hide.
  • Slab foundations: Leaks beneath concrete can cause damage long before they become visible.

Water Heater Services for Wellington Homes and Estates

Larger Wellington homes and properties with guest quarters often need more hot water than a single standard tank can supply. We repair and maintain existing water heaters, replace units nearing the end of their life, and install high-capacity or tankless systems for every building on your property. See our water heater services page.

Wellington Sewer and Drain Line Services

Recurring clogs, slow drains, and backups usually signal a problem in the main line. We use a camera inspection to find roots, buildup, or damaged pipe, then clear it with drain cleaning or hydro jetting, or repair and replace the affected section. Learn more on our drains and sewers page.

Wellington Electrical Services and Standby Generators

Wellington properties often power far more than a typical home, from barns, arena lighting, and fans to pools, guest houses, and smart home systems. Our licensed electricians handle repairs, service upgrades, rewiring, lighting, EV chargers, and surge protection across the village. As an official Generac dealer, we install and service standby generators sized to keep large properties running through storms. Visit our electrical services page.

Wellington electrical services:

  • Barn fans, lighting, or water systems lose power or trip breakers.
  • Outbuildings need new or upgraded electrical service.
  • Your panel can’t support a new guest house, pool, or EV charger.
  • Exterior lighting fails after rain or storms.
  • Lights flicker when large equipment starts.
  • Outlets feel warm, spark, or show discoloration.

When storms knock out power in western Palm Beach County, a Generac standby generator switches on automatically and keeps critical systems running, including:

  • Air conditioning in the main house and guest quarters
  • Barn fans, lighting, and water systems for horses
  • Refrigerators, security systems, and medical equipment

Large Wellington properties spread electrical service across multiple buildings, which means longer runs, more connections, and more places for problems to develop. Summer lightning is frequent this far inland and can damage equipment throughout a property. Older homes from the 1980s and 1990s may also have panels that need upgrading before adding pools, EV chargers, or outbuildings.

JD was wonderful! Although there was a hiccup in getting the right equipment, JD and his helper were able to put up scaffolding and install a ceiling fan 30 feet high, in under two hours. He did an amazing job. I would use Spectrum again in the future, and would most definitely recommend and hire JD again.
